Structural Engineer

We are seeking a licensed structural engineer to help continue our growth in the entertainment engineering industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide design services for temporary and permanent entertainment structures
Evaluate and determine structural load rating of new and existing structures
Provide onsite construction inspections and safety inspections of existing structures
Supervise preparation of design drawings for client review, permitting, and construction
Travel is required
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis
Ability to work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects with simultaneous schedules
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain license within one year
Experience generating calculations and construction details for steel and aluminum
Experience with the structural provisions of the codes including seismic requirements
MathCAD, RISA, and AutoCAD experience
Experience with mechanical design and/or equipment a plus

Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
Ideal candidate will have the ability to analyze and validate designs of complex machinery of varying types, as well as
design machine systems. Produce calculations that are thorough and clear that demonstrate the expected performance
of the machinery. Ability to understand complex analysis.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited college, or equivalent
Currently licensed PE preferred.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience reviewing, developing, and producing mechanical and fabrication drawings for drive systems.
- Experience in design/selection/analysis of drive systems and machinery components such as motors (a/c, servo,
etc), gearboxes, brake systems, Pneumatic Systems, Hydraulic Systems, etc.
- Experience with 3d parametric modeling software
- Proficiency in 3D parametric modelling package(s); and Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering science and
practice. (Stress & deflection of structures, power & torque of drivetrains, inertia of machinery and mechanisms).
- Exceptional analytical and numerical competency for substantiating designs by calculation; and thorough
understanding of first principles and experience of applying these to real-world applications.
- Attention to detail and the ability to see the wider context of project work; Flair for translating creatively-led
requirements into technically robust practical engineered solutions
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as take personal responsibility and work with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication, able to liaise with others at all levels in the company and with
customers.
- Strong work ethic and focus on delivery. Supportive team player, calm and level head- Willingness for occasional extended working hours and travel
Additional Beneficial Skills:
- Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience using current or recent version of Ansys Mechanical Desktop
- Experience developing/implementing CAD/3D Modeling standards
- Experience performing analysis of complex systems, such as comprehensive Fatigue Analysis, e-stop/impact
force analysis, etc)
