Clark Reder Engineering completed the structural engineering of the scenic cladding attached to the Prehistoric Stage for the Lost Lands Music festival held in Thornville, OH . The scenic cladding attached to the Prehistoric Stage consisted of (2) custom steel framed dinosaurs. Each dinosaur stood at approximately 80’ tall by 90 - 0” wide. The primary framing of the dinosaurs consisted of over ninety scenic panels which were framed using 1.5” by 1.5” steel tubing with plywood cladding and bolted to adjacent panels . 20.5” x 20.5” box truss was installed upstage of the scenic panels and served as a load path back to the roof and stage structure. In addition to the backing truss, custom steel jacks and a custom steel truss supported the head and wings that protr uded above the roof system. The final installed weight of each dinosaur weighed approximately 24,000 pounds
